Tilly, AR resident Danny Casto says he will “raise hell” until they take the Tilly Post Office off of the closure list. The post office opend in Tilly in 1943 and the location now shares space with a local grocery store. The residents are not happy and say they will fight it.
All across America there are rural post offices that are on a list to close. These are a selection of rural post offices in central Arkansas that are on that list. If the post offices are closed those who use those locations will have to travel farther to use the post office or to gather their mail out of their PO boxes. The residents near these small Arkansas towns with post offices set to close are not happy.
