WITTS SPRINGS, AR – DECEMBER 29, 2011

The men and women restrooms at the town park in the center of town of Witts Springs, AR. The Witts Springs, AR post office is currently set to stay open even though it was on the original closure list. Residents of nearby Tilly, AR, who’s post office is set to close, got frustrated when the Witts Springs post office was taken OFF the closure list and their small post office was PUT ON the closure list. Witts Springs sits at the intersection of State Highway 377 and Highway 16 on the edge of the Ozark National Forest.
All across America there are rural post offices that are on a list to close. These are a selection of rural post offices in central Arkansas that are on that list. If the post offices are closed those who use those locations will have to travel farther to use the post office or to gather their mail out of their PO boxes. The residents near these small Arkansas towns with post offices set to close are not happy.
